If it's legit, you should get help and maybe can get out of the military. But I expect some significant scrutiny on your newly developed depression. You should definitely see a therapist/mental health professional. ![]() Frankly, unless you really truly have a severe diagnosed case of depression (linked to some event, not just sudden onset to avoid duty), I'd say your command is likely going to be not very sympathetic. Sounds more like someone wants to shirk his duty and get out of his Enlistment contract because it's too hard. So after being medically cleared for service, presumably just a few months ago, and good to go, you suddently developed a severe case of depression? Sounds a bit fishy. ![]()
